Take a banjo, a fiddle, the guitar, drums and some fine hats, and you’ve got the Minneapolis-based A Night in the Box. Started by three high school friends, A Night in the Box released their debut album in 2006.

Their Americana-infused soul and bluegrass with the intensity of a hardcore punk aesthetic has since won over fans and critics worldwide. As they release their sophomore effort the group is rounded out with a fourth member on the violin, adding a mixture of accessible pop hooks with their quintessential gritty sound.
