Theatre production-“Arabian Nights”
Friday, 12 February 2010, 7:30pm - 9:00pm
Hits : 448

Directed by Greg Redlawsk. This adaptation of the Middle Eastern classic “One Thousand and One Nights” tells the story of Scheherezade and the tales she spins to keep herself alive while at the mercy of her new husband, the mad Caliph Shahryar. Her tales of love, lust, morality, and power fascinate and entertain, while reminding us of the tragic contemporary context of this rich and storied culture.

The show runs Feb. 12, 13, 19, 20 at 7:30 p.m., and Feb. 21 at 2 p.m. Adults $8, seniors/students/youth $5. Free to Cornell students, faculty, and staff. For tickets call 895-4293.

Location : Kimmel Theatre, Cornell College
