 2nd Annual Chili Cook-Off October 11

Mount Vernon-Lisbon Community Development announces the 2nd Annual Chili Cook-off. This event will be held on First Street East, next to Iowa Physical Therapy, on Saturday, October 11.
Cooking begins at Noon with judging at 4:00 p.m. The cook-off will open to the public for tastings from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m.
Event-goers will have the opportunity to purchase tickets for chili tasting at $0.50 per 2 oz. serving. Admission is free to the events and chili tickets will be sold at the entrance to the tent. Soda will be sold for $1.00 each at the tent, and alcoholic beverages can be purchased on site.
To enter your team in the Chili Cook-off, download the Chili Cook-Off Registration Form. Entry deadline is Oct. 6.
