Cultural enthusiasts can enjoy more than 50 local and regional artists while experiencing the history of the scenic Lincoln Highway from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. on First Street in Mount Vernon at the second annual Lincoln Highway Arts Festival.  Admission is free.

Other activities include docent-led walking tours of Mount Vernon's three National Historic Districts, a "Kids Only" art gallery, a children's activity tent and an outdoor concert by the Eastern Iowa Brass Band.

The Lincoln Highway Arts Festival is sposored by the Mount Vernon Area Arts Council.
