Culture enthusiasts can enjoy nearly 40 Iowa artists while experiencing the history of the scenic Lincoln Highway at the second annual Lincoln Highway Arts Festival on Saturday, September 29, 2007 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on First Street in Mount Vernon. Admission is free.
Other activities include a strolling musician, docent-led walking tours of Mount Vernon's three National Hsitoric Districts, and an outdoor concert by the Eastern Iowa Brass Band.
