The Cornell College Chamber Singers and Concert Choir will present "Gloria in Excelsis!" for the annual oliday concert at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, December 2, in King Chapel.  Admission is free.

The program includes four setting of the "Gloria" text.  The Concert Choir will perform Vivaldi's Gloria in D Major and Gloria from "Missa Kenya" by Paul Basler.  The Chamber Singers will perform Gloria ad modum tubae by Guillaume Dufay and Gloria in Excelsis Deo! by J.S. Bach.

The Chamber Singers will also perform "Pat-a-pan" by former Cornell music professor Alf Houkom, whose work has been performed by professional groups and soloist including the Dale Warland Singers, the Santa Fe Desert Chorale and the Gregg Smith Singers.
