Take part in the nation's first High School IT-Olympics (Information Technology), with three venues ( Robotics, Game Design and Cyber Defense).  

Organized by: Iowa Department of Economic Development, Technology Association of Iowa, Iowa Chapter of InfraGard, Iowa State university (Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering and the Information Assurance Center).

Also included will be community service projects, real time competitions, corporate booths and teacher workshops. 

Mount Vernon students will be participating and may have some surprises in store.

This is a two day event with opening ceremonies beginning at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, and competitions ending around 6:00 p.m. 

Free admission and open to the public.
