Davis Park is one of the most popular parks in Mount Vernon.  It features a modern playground, picnic facilities such as grills, tables and shelter, a baseball field with concessions, drinking fountain, batting cages, basketball court and the public swimming pool is all part of the fun.

Weather permitting, the concrete basketball court is turned into an ice skating rink during those cold winter months.  The park can be rented by calling the Parks and Rec. Director, Craig Wilson, at 319-895-9513.  No rental fee is charged.  There is a lease that needs to be a signed and a $25.00 refundable deposit is required. Facilities can also be rented at Memorial Park and Nature Park.
