The Sutliff Bridge was the first structure to cross the Cedar River in Johnson County back in 1898, and is also the longest Parker truss bridge of Iowa's secondary road system at 827 feet long. It's also on the National Register of Historic Places.
Baxa's Sutliff Store and Tavern offers a delicious variety of food and beverages, and if the lines get too long waiting for a great meal, stroll out onto the bridge and enjoy a wonderful view of the river. This is a piece of history you will not want to miss!
Located approx. 6 miles south of Lisbon, Iowa. Take Sutliff Road south and follow the signs.
