Odyssey Theatre is a children's theatre dedicated to fully-staged theatrical productions involving children from the community, whether on stage or behind the scenes.  Odyssey Theatre for the Young at Art produces two shows a year: a Christmas-themed play in conjunction with the Mount Vernon-Lisbon Community Theatre; and a summer musical involving children of all ages.  These productions are praised both for their excellent quality and entertainment value.  Odyssey Theatre is fun for the entire family!

2007 Repertory Program

New for 2007!  Odyssey Theatre will sponsor a six week workshop for students in grades 6-10.  The workshop will meet April 9 - May 14, culminating in a public performance at FUEL.  This program will focus on lighting, sound & set design, stage management and costume design & construction.  You can download the Odyssey Theatre Repertory program application for complete information.

2007 Summer Drama Workshop

 Odyssey Theatre will once again sponsor a three week instensive workshop for students entering grades 2 - 10.  The workshop will meet from 12:00-3:00 Mondays-Thursdays, June 11 - June 30.  The course will culminate with a performance of Give My Regards to Broadway.  Workshop will meet at the Mount Vernon Middle School, with performances at the Mount Vernon School District Auditorium.  You can download the Odyssey Theatre Summer Drama Workshop application for complete information.
